Chelsea to smash transfer record for Napoli’s Osimhen despite FFP concerns

Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay the release clause of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, despite fears of breaching the Premier League Profit and Sustainable rules.
Osimhen, a 35-cap Nigeria international, could cost Chelsea between €120m-€130m after impressing at Napoli.
Caughtoffside cites Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, who claims that the striker is willing to move to Stamford Bridge.

The 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner could help bolster Chelsea’s attack, which has struggled for goals despite last summer’s reinforcements.
However, concerns remain regarding Financial Fair Play rules and whether Chelsea will need to sell before making a signing like Osimhen.
